From April 10 to April 13, the film festival of the Faculty of Media and Information Technology of Offenburg University took place for the 18th time. At the "Shorts", the best student productions from Germany, France and Switzerland, were presented over four days. 52 films in seven competition blocks competed in the Offenburg "Forum Cinema" for the favour of the jury. On Friday evening (7 p.m.) the big award ceremony took place in the categories Short Feature Film, Medium-Length Film, Documentary Film, Animated Film and Experimental Film. For the first time, the "Verein der Freunde und Förderer der Hochschule Offenburg" awarded a prize for the best film from the Faculty of Media and Information Technolgy.
The winners each received 1000 Euro prize money (by category):
